Trimmed masterwork armour is a full ready of degradable power armour that requires level 99 Smithing and completion of the It Should Have Been Called Aetherium achievement to create, and level 92 Defence to be worn. It is the strongest smithable melee armour outside of Daemonheim.
Each piece of trimmed masterwork armour has 100,000 charges of combat, which lasts approximately 55 hours in average combat. Custom-fit trimmed masterwork armour has 200,000 charges of combat, which lasts approximately 110 hours. When a piece runs out of charges, it degrades to a broken state and cannot exist used. Each piece is repaired by using the trimmed item on an anvil while carrying the normal masterwork equivalent (unused and untrimmed; which is consumed to repair it).
Trimmed masterwork armour will not degrade in Elite Dungeons. This effect is carried over to custom-fitted equipment.
The ranged equivalent is Elite sirenic armour, and the magic equivalent is Elite tectonic armour. Unlike any other tier 92 armour in the game, Trimmed masterwork armour cannot be dyed.
Dying to some other histrion in the Wilderness with a total set up of trimmed masterwork armour will drop the items with the same amount of charges to the other player, unless information technology is augmented in which case it will drop the broken equivalent of the detail. Equally for custom-fit variants of the armour, those will drop equally 15,100,000 coins for the entire ready to the other player.

Custom-fitting [edit | edit source]
The armour tin exist custom-fitted to its owner for free. To do this, speak to Elof in the Artisans' Workshop.
Custom-fitting is independent of augmentation, and so each item can be augmented, custom-fitted, neither, or both. Custom-fitting does not require level 99 Smithing nor does it require the accomplishment It Should Have Been Chosen Aetherium. You need a full set of armour to custom fit.

Augmented [edit | edit source]
The trimmed masterwork platebody and platelegs (and custom-fit variants) can be augmented past taking them to an invention workbench. Even used armour can be augmented past taking the armour along with 36 divine charges and an augmentor to an invention workbench. The augmented armour volition retain the same amount of degradation equally the original armour piece.
Merely like malevolent equipment, augmented trimmed masterwork only uses the equipment degradation system, and not the invention charge pack system.

Regardless of augmentation or custom-plumbing equipment, Trimmed masterwork equipment requires a complete set of masterwork equipment in order to repair it, consuming the masterwork armour pieces in the process.
Each slice is repaired past using the trimmed item on an anvil while carrying the normal masterwork equivalent (unused and untrimmed), which is consumed to repair it. Additionally, if the trimmed detail is augmented, 32 divine charges are needed to recharge information technology.
